A year ago, we gathered inside the small office of NPF board president Jeff Wagner and listened in on the inside workings of a small organization on the rise. We learned of the acquisition of the Hugh Taylor collection, met the board of directors and some of the early NPF volunteers. Most importantly, we made lasting connections with other like-minded and involved members, all the while, enjoying hamburgers and steering clear of the summer heat. Well… let’s do it again!
Who, What, Where, When and Why
Join us, Tuesday evening July 28th 6:30pm – 8:30pm for Nevada Preservation Foundation’s 2015 Annual Board of Directors meeting. This year’s meeting will be held at The Center, located at 401 S. Maryland Parkway just down the street from the NPF offices. Pizza will also be served as a thank you to all our members who join us for this dinner hour meeting. Following the annual meeting, we will head over to Atomic Liquors, located at 917 Fremont St., for some cool, summer refreshments and the good company of our peers.
This year’s meeting will give our members a chance to meet NPF’s growing board of directors, which has almost doubled since this time last year. In addition, our members will also hear about current projects and clients, upcoming events and the standing committees will report on their progress thus far this year. The meeting will also go over the financial status of the organization, grants that have been received or are in the application process and plans for the remainder of the 2015 year, including news on the Hugh E. Taylor archives and the Founding Donors Campaign. A full agenda for the meeting will be posted one week in advance on the event page on NPF’s website.
Don’t miss out on this chance to see NPF in action, up close and personal! Now is your chance to bring your questions, comments and ideas to the NPF table.
If you can’t make the meeting, please still join the meetup at Atomic for some after dinner drinks and conversation.
