TREASURER

Christopher brings over 25 years of real estate experience and a deep passion for historic homes and neighborhoods to the Nevada Preservation Foundation. Raised in the Inland Empire of Southern California, Christopher majored in history at the prestigious University of California, Berkeley, before making his way to the vibrant Las Vegas area.

His appreciation for homes with charm and character continued to grow after moving to the San Francisco Bay Area and starting his real estate career. Upon relocating to Las Vegas, Christopher sought out neighborhoods where vintage homes featured prominently.

Christopher’s commitment to preserving and revitalizing historic buildings and communities led him to volunteer with the Nevada Preservation Foundation. In 2023, he joined the Board of Directors and was elected Treasurer in 2025.

In addition to his role at the Nevada Preservation Foundation, Christopher serves on several other boards, including the Las Vegas Realtors MLS, Cal Alumni Chapter of Southern Nevada, and the Whitney Town Advisory Board.

Allan Rogers

SECRETARY

Allan is a Vegas native who currently works in the software industry. Allan’s family moved to Las Vegas in the 60s when his grandfather relocated to the Young Electric Sign Company (YESCO) Vegas yard. Allan graduated from the Las Vegas Academy and UNLV. He and his family currently reside downtown.

Allan was taught growing up that Vegas doesn’t have much history. Traveling heavily for work and taking history tours wherever he went, Allan stopped taking Vegas history for granted. Allan has learned that Las Vegas’ history may be short, but each decade of Vegas history is jam packed. Though Allan isn’t a historian, he spends a lot of his time consuming information about the fabulous history of Las Vegas. Allan especially enjoys combining technology and historical storytelling together via app-based self guided tours.
