Of Scotsmen + Mayors

April 18 @ 10:45 am - 12:15 pm
$35

In the shadow of the I-15 lies a hidden enclave of sparkling Vegas history. Join us for a walking tour that showcases the charming facades of the Scotch 80s!

When a deal was struck between the first mayor of Las Vegas and a Scottish investor, it produced one of the city’s most storied neighborhoods: the Scotch 80s.

As you explore this diamond of a neighborhood, tucked quietly in the heart of the city, you’ll be dazzled by an assortment of architectural styles—from sprawling L-shaped modern ranch homes to Colonial Revival mansions and other distinctive designs spanning from the early mid-century into the new millennium.

Walk this tree-lined oasis with us and discover how this remarkable 80-acre enclave came to be, along with the stories of its notable residents, including world-class comedians, legendary gaming entrepreneurs, and even a few (in)famous local politicians.

Please note: This is a Walking Tour that does not include entering these homes

Meeting point: 1725 W. Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV
